Mrs. Joyce Bradley Stutts, age 85 of Laurinburg passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017.
Joyce was born in Scotland County on March 7, 1932, a loving daughter of the late Marshall B. Bradley and Edith McCaskill Bradley. She was the devoted wife to the late Billy Ray Stutts who preceded her in death in 2005. She retired after 20 years of service as the Switchboard Operator with Scotland Memorial Hospital. She was a longtime member of Central United Methodist Church. Joyce will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Surviving are her sons, Stephen “Steve” Michael Stutts and wife Linda of Laurinburg, Joel “Joey” Ray Stutts of Laurel Hill, Jeffery Lee Stutts and wife Debbie of Asheboro; sister, Janice Davis and husband Paul of Maxton; grandchildren, Roxanne Douglas and husband Buddy, Brad Stutts and wife Brandy, Brian Stutts and Zachary Stutts; great grandchildren, Carter Stutts, Avery Stutts, Alyssa Douglas, Bradelyn Douglas and her nieces.
A graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 in Hillside Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Dr. Howard Whitehurst. The family will receive friends following the service at graveside.
Memorial donations may be given in her memory to Scotland Regional Hospice, P.O. Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353 or Central United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 397, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
The family wishes to thank the staff for their loving care given to Mrs. Stutts during her time at the Scottish Pines Rehabilitation Nursing Center.
