Mary Louise "Sister" Quick Caulder



Mary Louise "Sister" Quick Caulder, age 82 of Laurel Hill passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Rev. Woody Byrd. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

Louise, a daughter of the late Boyd Douglas Quick and Lula Mae Johnson Quick Goff, was born August 12, 1935 in Marlboro County, South Carolina. She was the loving and devoted wife to the late Lindburg Caulder, Sr. She dedicated her life to loving her family as a wonderful homemaker. She had a special love for gardening and also enjoyed sewing, crafting and jigsaw puzzles. Sisters greatest joy was sharing time with her family and friends.

Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Lindburg Caulder, Jr.; granddaughter, Lori Caulder; brothers, Boyd “Buck” Quick, Allen Quick, Jr., twin brother, Jay William “Sonny” Quick and sister, Linda Perkins Oxendine.

She is survived by sons, Jimmy Caulder of Clover, SC, Clyde Caulder of McColl, SC, Wallace Caulder , Mitchell Wayne Caulder (Rena) both of Laurinburg; daughters, Mary Kathy Caulder Cash of Chester, SC, Karen Denise Caulder Lane (Lance) of Laurinburg; brother, Fred Perkins (Linda) of Jackson, OH; sister, Brenda Perkins Parker (Donald) of Laurinburg; thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 25th from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Richard Boles Funeral Service.
