Pamella Gooden Hudson



Pamella Gooden Hudson, was born March 3,1955 in Toledo, OH. After a valiant battle with breast cancer, she finally won her battle, and joined so many who’ve gone before her. Pam’s memory went to be with God on June 19th, 2018.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years James “Jim” Hudson, her son Jeremy Hudson(Andrea), her daughter Jayme Sabin(Matt), and her five amazing grandchildren Mathew, Porter, Alexis, Brooklyn, &Austin;. Left to honor Pam are her Mother-n-law Meredith Hudson, sister Anne Foltz(Barry), brothers Carl Gooden(Carol), Buddy Gooden and many adoring nieces and nephews.

Pam’s illness didn’t define her, she persevered when the odds were stacked against her. She showed us all what true strength, courage, and grace were.

Pam was a Wife, a Mom, and a Granny. Pam was a loving person who always put her family first. She loved horses. Pam took her love for horses and reinvented herself into a winning pony carriage driver in the Moore County Driving Club. Pam was an avid reader, always working on the most recent Stephen King novel.

Family, friends, and others are invited to visitation with the Family at Richard Boles Funeral Service from 6-8pm, Friday, June 22nd. The memorial service will be held the following morning in the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel at 11am June 23rd, to celebrate the amazing life of an amazing woman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Pam to Disabled Drivers ( or a charity of your choice.
