Luther Thomas “LT” Soles, age 77 of Laurinburg passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Springfield Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by Rev. J. B. Loving. Entombment will follow the service in Richmond County Memorial Park.
Luther was a son of the late Luther Thomas Soles, Sr. and Eva Sanders Soles born in Robeson County November 18, 1940. He worked in textiles and was the owner and operator of Soles Trucking for 35 years. He loved his church and served as a faithful member of the Springfield Pentecostal Holiness Church. He enjoyed yard work, Go-kart racing, NASCAR and wrestling. LT’s greatest joy was the love of his family and sharing time with each of them.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Conway Rushing and Floyd Douglas.
LT leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, Evelyn Oxendine Soles of their home; children, Ronald Soles, Sr., (Sandi) of Marston, Terry Soles and Larry Soles both of Laurinburg, Donald Soles (Gaylynn) of Rockingham, Ronald Soles, Jr., (Hope) and Kaitlin Soles; his brother, James Soles (Pat) of Laurel Hill; sisters, Mildred Rushing of Laurinburg, Jean Douglas of Laurel Hill; grandchildren, Brittany, Solomon, Dustin; great grandchildren, Kason, Adelyn, Kenly and his K9 companion, Queenie.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, at Richard Boles Funeral Service.

Uncle LT was a special person who cared for his family and friends. He was a straight shooter always said it like it was. You always knew where you stood with him. He will be missed by all that knew and loved this family man. Aunt Everlyn,Ronnie,Donnie,Larry and Terryville I'm am so sorry for your loss.
