Jean Lydia Roller Brock



Jean Lydia Roller Brock, age 78 of Laurinburg passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2018.

Jean was born September 6, 1939 in Marlboro County, SC, loving daughter of the late Ralph Roller and Ruby Leviner Roller. She retired after many years of service with Abbott Laboratories. She enjoyed cooking, working in her flower garden and shopping. Jean was a loving homemaker who was the center of the family and was passionate keeping family first. She had the gift of hospitality and welcomed all to her home. Jean was a strong, quiet person who fought bravely in her battle with cancer and her faith in God never wavered. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She leaves behind her husband of 61 years, William Aaron Brock, Sr. of the home; son, William Aaron “Buddy” Brock, Jr. (Beverly) of Laurel Hill; daughters, Kathy Brock Dezearn (Darren) of Greensboro, Ruby Frances Dial (Ricky), JoAnn Brock Seals (Mark) all of Laurinburg; brother, Rick Roller (Kristen) of Fayetteville; twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; a special aunt who she loved as a sister, Betty Leviner Chavis (Grantham) of Bennettsville, SC and a host of loving family and friends.

A Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Hillside Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Joel Quick. The family will receive friends following the service at graveside.
