James Monroe “Bob” Grice, age 65 of Laurinburg passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, at the Wagram Emanuel Holiness Church officiated by Rev. Ronnie Norton. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
Bob was a son of the late John A. and Louise Hubbard Grice born December 24, 1952 in Dillon, South Carolina. He was a farmer retiring after 25 years of service with the Snead Brother’s Farm. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sharing time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Grice Hood and grandparents, James Robert and Effie McRae Grice, Clyde and Roselee Hubbard.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Grimsley Grice of the home; sons, David Grice of Laurinburg, James Robert Grice of Whiteville, WV; daughters, Michelle Grice of Laurinburg, Shirley Ryder of Granite Falls; brother, Johnnie Grice of Bennettsville, SC and sister, Lois Grice Hood of Marston; grandchildren, Riley Grice, Rickie Sabrina Ryder, Bella Grice, Dylan Ryder, Gracelyn Chavis, Cheyenne Ryder, Bradley James Grice; great grandchild, Hayden Smith and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Richard Boles Funeral Service.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the God of All Comfort be with you during this difficult time. I have personally found comfort in the promise of 1st Corinthians 15:26 where it states that soon death will be brought to nothing. Then we will have the prospect of being reunited with our loved ones right here on earth(John 5:28,29).
I truly hope this brings you comfort and peace. My deepest sympathies for you all
